WhatsApp is a very popular social media chat application and company claims that it has more than 1 billion users
With time WhatsApp has introduced lots of new features like Calling, WhatsApp Desktop App, Video Calling, GIF Support, Bookmark Support etc
And In order to continue introducing new features, Company decided not to provide support for older version and urged people to upgrade their phones to a newer version or newer device and for now they are extending support till 30 June 2017
WhatsApp is ending support for following old versions of different devices
- Android 2.1 and 2.2
- Windows Phone 7
- iOs6 or iPhone3GS
